Summary

Our client, based in Hasselt, specializes in the efficient installation of towbars for cars and vans. Currently, the team consists of 3 employees, but they are looking to expand by adding 3 additional fitters. The goal is to hire stable, long-term employees with the potential for permanent positions.

Responsibilities

  • Install towbars on various vehicles, including cars and vans
  • Work 5 days a week, Monday to Friday, with hours from 9 AM to 6 PM during low season (November to February)
  • During peak season (March to October), work extended hours from 7 AM to 6 PM with a one-hour lunch break (12 PM to 1 PM)
  • Collaborate with team members to meet installation targets
  • Adapt to seasonal work fluctuations; potential to take a one-month leave during low periods
  • Adhere to safety and quality standards; handle overtime during peak season based on union agreements (up to 50 hours per week)

Qualifications

  • Experience in automotive electrical systems, including diagnostic skills
  • Ability to work efficiently and meet daily targets (3-4 installations per day)
  • Flexibility to work during peak and low seasons
  • Team player, preferably applying in pairs
  • Eligible for sector salary (Baremaloon PC 149.02)
  • Meal vouchers provided after 3 months of employment (€7 per working day)
  • Open to candidates looking for long-term employment with potential for permanent contracts
