Operator

As a folding glue operator, you will have full responsibility for an automated Vega folder-gluer (folding glue machine) during your shift, including input and output (via stacker robots). At the start of a new production run, you will set up the machine according to production instructions and specifications, and make necessary adjustments throughout the entire production process. During production, you will ensure the efficiency and quality of the production to meet all aspects of specific customer requirements. This is achieved by performing regular inspections. The goal is to produce conforming products at maximum speed with minimal waste. During your shift, you are also responsible for cleaning your work area and performing preventive maintenance on all assigned equipment. You will troubleshoot machine issues in cooperation with the technical department and/or your supervisor. Together with your fellow operators, you will support safety and improvement efforts to ensure a safe and efficient working environment.
