Summary

The company does the production of non-woven textiles (no finished products). Their fabric is used in: jackets, filters, mattresses, insulation material, pampers, sanitary towels,... They do make one finished product and that is the bandages for plaster work and when people need surgery for varicose veins. There are 3 types of treatment: thermal (heat) - mechanical (with needles) - chemical (bonding) Each line is constructed the same: 1 mixing operator, 1 line operator, 1 shift manager, 1 cutting machine operator, 1 spooler.

Responsibilities

  • As an operator you are responsible for setting the cutting machines such as length and width parameters to cut the fleece.
  • You monitor the quality of the fleece and the production process based on various quality measurements.
  • If malfunctions occur, you as an operator try to solve them yourself, possibly in consultation with the shift manager.
  • If the problem is not found quickly, you can call on an experienced breakdown technician.
  • You also operate the overhead crane to weigh and move the finished rolls.
  • You will then label the finished rolls after which they will be removed by forklift.

Qualifications

  • You are willing to learn and interested in technology.
  • You have a good knowledge of English language for smooth communication in the workplace.
  • You are critical and have sufficient insight to detect errors on the machines.
  • You have experience in production as an operator and are willing to take responsibility.
  • You are flexible and willing to work in 2 (5:00 - 13:00 first week, 13:00 - 21:00 second week) or 3 shifts (5:00 - 13:00, 13:00 - 21:00, 21:00 - 5:00)
  • You are good at solving problems

Offer

  • Starting salary: €16.20/h + shift allowance
  • Approximately €17.00/h in 2 shifts
  • €600 - €700 net per week
