Summary

A family-owned business specializing in tailor-made bus transport in Affligem is seeking a Bus Maintenance Technician. In this role, you will be responsible for performing both preventive and curative maintenance, as well as repairing mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems on buses and coaches. Responsibilities

  • Perform preventive and curative maintenance on buses and coaches
  • Repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems
  • Replace and repair electronic components such as sensors, actuators, and control modules
  • Conduct routine maintenance tasks, including changing tires, performing oil changes, and replacing windows
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot issues with various bus systems to ensure efficient operation

Qualifications

  • Educational background in mechanics, technology, or equivalent work experience
  • Proficient in English, French, or Dutch
  • In-depth understanding of diesel engines, hydraulic systems, electrical systems, and vehicle diagnostics
  • A valid driver's license (B) is required; License D is desirable
  • Ability to replace electronic components such as sensors, actuators, and control modules
  • Experience with maintenance tasks such as tire changes, oil changes, window replacements, and crack repairs
