Summary

For a dynamic company, we are seeking a motivated and skilled Truck Mechanic to be responsible for the maintenance and repair of trucks and trailers. The role involves a variety of tasks including tire, brake pad, and brake disc replacement, trailer repair, and general mechanical maintenance of trucks. The successful candidate will work full-time (38 hours/week) with meal vouchers provided. A permanent contract will be offered following a positive evaluation period. The work schedule is between 8:00 AM and 6:00 PM, with occasional Saturday mornings required (between 6:00 AM and 12:00 PM). The salary will be discussed based on experience and qualifications.

Responsibilities

The Truck Mechanic will be responsible for:
  • Identifying malfunctions and determining appropriate technical solutions.
  • Testing and adjusting vehicles post-maintenance or repair.
  • Performing maintenance and rapid intervention services.
  • Replacing or repairing engines, gearboxes, clutches, suspensions, and starters.
  • Maintaining the cleanliness of the workshop and upkeep of tools.
  • Recording interventions and communicating information to relevant departments.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate possesses the following qualifications:
  • Proven experience in vehicle mechanics (required).
  • The ability to independently perform maintenance and repair work on trucks.
  • Sufficient Dutch language skills to communicate effectively.

Offer
