Summary

For a leading producer of cold-formed steel profiles we are seeking a skilled and motivated Mechanic in mechanical engineering. The successful candidate will join a company that manufactures a diverse range of steel profiles for various applications, from hospital beds to solar panel constructions. This role offers a position within a technological environment with numerous learning and growth opportunities for tailor-made training and personal development. The salary package includes meal vouchers, eco vouchers, group and hospitalization insurance, and ten ADV days. Additionally, there is an option to subscribe to a bicycle lease plan.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the installation and optimization of machinery, focusing on mechanical aspects.
  • Perform assembly work involving components such as shafts, bearings, couplings, and seals.
  • Install compressed air and hydraulic circuits based on technical drawings.
  • Undertake necessary welding tasks, including semi-automatic and electric arc welding.
  • Experience with turning and milling is considered an advantage.

Qualifications

  • Must possess at least a TSO diploma in (electro-)mechanics or maintenance mechanics.
  • Must be proficient in reading technical drawings.
  • Must be skilled in using measuring tools such as sliding gauges and micrometers.
  • Should be eager to learn and highly motivated.
  • Must be capable of working independently while adhering to safety and accuracy standards.
  • A strong team spirit is essential.
  • Must be willing to work within a two-shift system.

Offer

  • €18 per hour
