Summary

Randstad is seeking a Test Technician for a world‑leading automotive sensors company in Ieper (Ypres), West Flanders, Belgium. This is a full‑time, temporary‑to‑permanent role involving maintenance and functional testing of high‑tech microchip test equipment to ensure continuous production quality.

Responsibilities

  • Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on final test machines used for microchip testing across various temperatures
  • Act as first point of contact for operators in case of machine breakdowns
  • Analyse and register test results and error messages, propose corrective actions
  • Collaborate with production engineers to support and improve testing procedures of new microchips
  • Suggest improvements to boost production efficiency and reliability

Qualifications

  • Technical background via relevant work experience or diploma (A2 or Bachelor level)
  • Comfortable working in a two‑shift system (early shift 05:00–13:00, late shift 13:00–21:00) or a fixed night shift (Sunday start, 21:00–05:00)
  • Very good command of English
  • Analytical mindset with problem-solving skills and attention to detail

Offer

  • Wage: approx. €18.50+ per hour for day/evening shifts; €20 per hour for night shift (shift premiums included)
