Summary

Randstad is hiring a Machine Operator for a global leader in automotive sensors, based near Ieper (Ypres), Belgium. The role supports the production of microchips integrated into vehicles worldwide.

Responsibilities

  • Operate and monitor test or production machinery with precision to maintain quality
  • Test and inspect microchips to ensure functionality
  • Follow detailed work instructions and quality standards
  • Input data and track production results using a computer system
  • Troubleshoot minor technical issues or assist with machine resets
  • Maintain a tidy and organized workstation and collaborate with colleagues

Qualifications

  • A2 diploma or equivalent through relevant experience
  • Capable of performing detailed manual work and repetitive tasks
  • Comfortable working with technical equipment and computer systems
  • Good command of English (Dutch is a bonus)
  • Willingness to work in a 2-shift system (alternating weekly: 05:00–13:00 / 13:00–21:00) or permanent night shift (21:00–05:00)
  • Motivated, team-minded, and quality-conscious

  • Hourly wage: €18.50 (dayshift), 20€ for night shifts (including shift premiums)
