Summary

A leading company in the automotive sector is seeking an experienced Reach Truck Driver to join their team in Ghent, Belgium. This full-time position offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic and innovative environment, contributing to the efficient logistics operations of the company.

Responsibilities

  • Safely and efficiently operate a reach truck to move goods and materials within the warehouse.
  • Load and unload trucks and containers, ensuring proper handling of products.
  • Store and retrieve parts and finished products, maintaining an organized warehouse.
  • Accurately register all movements in the warehouse management system.
  • Comply with all safety procedures and regulations to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the logistics process.

Qualifications

  • Valid reach truck certificate or equivalent experience.
  • Previous experience operating a reach truck in a warehouse or logistics setting.
  • Willingness to work in a 2-shift system (early and late shifts) or a fixed night shift.
  • Strong focus on safety, respect, and collegiality.
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English.
  • Motivated and reliable with a strong work ethic.

  • Hourly wage: Approximately €17.71 per hour, with additional shift premiums.
