Summary

For a leading client in the technical installation sector, we are recruiting an experienced Plastic Pipefitter/Welder. In this permanent position, the candidate will independently fabricate and assemble plastic piping systems based on technical and isometric drawings. The role includes tasks such as cutting, grinding, welding, and fitting various types of plastic materials, including HDPE, PVC, and double-walled plastics. The work must be carried out with precision, in compliance with safety and hygiene regulations.

Responsibilities

  • Read and interpret technical and isometric drawings
  • Perform manual tasks such as cutting and grinding plastic pipe sections
  • Connect and process HDPE, PVC, and double-walled plastic materials
  • Identify various types of plastics used in installations
  • Use hoists and lifting equipment to position components
  • Prepare and execute pressure test procedures
  • Communicate quality-related information to the site supervisor or work planner
  • Install necessary support structures for plastic piping systems
  • Ensure a safe, accurate, and hygienic work environment
  • Accurately report work progress and maintain proper documentation
  • Supervise one or more colleagues if assigned by management

Qualifications

  • Basic safety certificate (VCA/VVA I)
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
  • GRE certificate
  • Certified flange mechanic
  • Lifting and hoisting certification
  • Welding qualification T42-011
  • EN 13067 certification
  • 2–4 years of experience as a plastic pipefitter
