Summary

For a leading client in the technical installation sector, we are looking for a skilled and independent Metal Pipefitter . The pipefitter will work under the supervision of the site or project leader, with responsibility for assembling metal piping systems and installations based on technical and isometric drawings. The role includes manual pipefitting, material handling, welding preparations, pressure testing, and ensuring safety and quality standards are consistent. This is a permanent position offering a competitive and challenging salary depending on experience . Housing may be provided by the client based on individual needs.

Responsibilities

  • Read and interpret drawings and take accurate measurements
  • Perform manual pipefitting tasks, including cutting and grinding
  • Work with various materials: P265GH steel, 304L stainless steel, galvanized steel S195T, and copper
  • Prepare and perform setting and tack welding
  • Identify and handle different material types
  • Use hoists and lifting equipment to position components
  • Prepare and carry out pressure tests
  • Communicate quality-related data to the work planner
  • Install support structures as required
  • Maintain a safe, precise, and hygienic work environment
  • Accurately report progress and contribute to as-built documentation (blue/red ISO)
  • Supervise one or more colleagues when assigned by management

Qualifications

  • Valid  Basic Safety Certificate (VCA/VVA I).
  • Certified  Flange Mechanic.
  • Certified in  Lifting and Hoisting.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical and isometric drawings.
  • 2–4 years of experience as a metal pipefitter.
